After going on his first trip to Peru in April of 2017, he made continued trips for 2 years before getting involved with an organization that planted churches, feeding centers, and building wells. In 2021 Ruben Ferrell became a Missionary through Church of God World Missions and later in 2023 created Ripple Ministries. They currently have a feeding center that takes care of 80-100 people for 3 meals every week, year round.
They have built 2 wells in different locations, providing clean drinking water, and give out food bags to locals while they do street ministry. Everything that they do is to show the love of Jesus to the people of Peru so that the message of Jesus Christ's love can be received.
With more resources, they would love to build more wells and help provide for local pastors to continually minister and disciple the local population. There are also 1000's of tribes that are unreached and have not heard the message of Jesus further down the river than where they operate. The journey is long, hard, and expensive but we want the message of Jesus Christ to reach the whole world.
